Summary based on 3 sources
A 54-year-old man from Texas, Eduardo Molina, was shot and killed on April 3, 2019, in the parking lot of the Quality Inn and Suites on Greenway Drive in Jackson, Mississippi. The male victim was gunned down by four individuals who arrived at the motel in a small, silver, four-door sedan, possibly a Nissan, which was missing its right front hubcap.

Surveillance footage captured the vehicle and the four male suspects at the location. After shooting Molina multiple times, some of the assailants stole his black pickup truck. The stolen truck was later recovered by authorities in West Jackson. Despite the available surveillance footage, the identities of the four men responsible for the deadly shooting remain unknown.

Months after the incident, in December 2019, the Jackson Police Department made a public appeal for assistance in solving the case. Investigators reported that they had exhausted all leads and were hopeful that someone would come forward with new information. A reward of up to $2,500 was offered for any information that would lead to an arrest in the case. The investigation into the death of Eduardo Molina appears to have stalled, with no subsequent announcements of arrests or identified suspects in the years that have followed.
