In the summer of 2019, a young woman's journey to a new city tragically ended, leaving a family in mourning and a community with unanswered questions. Nineteen-year-old Maggie Jones, a recent transplant to Jackson, Mississippi, from Aubrey, Texas, was found deceased on the side of Breton Street in a rural part of the city. Having moved to Jackson on June 10, her life was cut short just six days later.
