In a tragic turn of events on an early Saturday morning in October 2020, a family argument in a Jackson, Mississippi home culminated in the death of 59-year-old Mary Harper. The woman was shot and died shortly after the altercation.

Responding to the incident, Jackson police officers arrived at the residence to find a somber scene. The victim's son, Darrell Harper, was present at the home and was subsequently arrested by the authorities. He was later charged with the murder of his mother. ...
