Samantha Cannon, aged 22, tragically lost her life on January 23, 2022, in Jackson, Mississippi. She was one of the victims in a double homicide that occurred at the Rainbow Motel on Medgar Evers Boulevard. The incident involved another young woman, Kiera Poole, aged 21. Both women were found shot multiple times inside a motel room. The Hinds County Coroner, Sharon Grisham Stewart, confirmed their identities and the cause of death as multiple gunshot wounds.
