Bertha Lee Liddell, aged 73, was tragically killed on January 30, 2014, in Jackson, Mississippi. The incident occurred at a home on Voorhees Avenue, where both Bertha and her son, Tyrone C. Liddell Sr., were found shot to death. Tyrone C. Liddell Jr., Bertha's grandson, was arrested and charged with the murders. The police discovered Tyrone Sr.'s body in the front yard and Bertha's body inside the house.
