In the late hours of a Thursday night in Jackson, Mississippi, the life of Fernanda Marie Gomez was tragically cut short. On April 25, 2024, the 34-year-old female was fatally shot on Jefferson Street. The incident occurred at approximately 11:15 p.m., prompting a response from the Mississippi Capitol Police.
