Rodney Harris, a 31-year-old resident of Meridian, Mississippi, was tragically killed on January 15, 2020. The incident occurred shortly after 8 p.m. outside his residence on the 2700 block of 36th Street. According to reports, police received multiple calls from nearby residents about "shots fired" in the area. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Mr. Harris lying unresponsive between his vehicle and the door to his residence, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
