Stephen Thompson, age 38, was last seen on June 2, 1986, in Oakland, Maine. He was a manager at Schwan's frozen food company. On the morning of his disappearance, Thompson was dropped off at work by his wife, Beverly. Witnesses reported seeing him at his job that morning, but by the afternoon, he had vanished without a trace. Attempts to contact him throughout the day were unsuccessful, and authorities launched an investigation later that same day.
