In the Walnut Park East neighborhood of St. Louis, a young man's life was cut short in a burst of gunfire on the evening of Friday, April 17, 2015. Branden Montrell Vance, a 25-year-old male, was found by police in the 5300 block of Genevieve Avenue with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
