On a Friday afternoon in St. Louis, Missouri, the sound of gunfire shattered the midday calm in the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood. On October 24, 2014, at approximately 12:30 P.M., police responded to a call of 'shots fired' at 2747 Goodfellow Boulevard. In an alley at the location, officers discovered the critically wounded Clifford E. Boston. He had sustained apparent gunshot wounds and was rushed to a local hospital for emergency treatment.
