On June 4, 2007, Carl Hodge, aged 49, was shot and killed in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident took place around 11:07 p.m. on Dr. Martin Luther King Drive near Semple Avenue. Witnesses reported that another individual stepped out of a pickup truck and began firing, hitting Hodge multiple times before driving away.
