In the summer of 2020, the life of Lorenzo Kalthon Jr., a 29-year-old African American male, was tragically cut short. On the morning of July 2, a passerby made a grim discovery on Burns Road in the rural northern part of Columbus, Mississippi, finding Kalthon's body in a ditch.
