On a summer evening in Jackson, Mississippi, the lives of a mother and daughter were tragically cut short in an act of violence that stunned their community. M'Tisha Jackson, a 32-year-old female, and her 59-year-old mother, Bobbie Ann Bright, were shot and killed in their home on August 2, 2020. The sense of peace in their neighborhood was shattered by the violence that erupted within the family's own walls.
