Dontrez Stigger, a 19-year-old resident of Jackson, Mississippi, was tragically killed on August 4, 2020. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Trinity Street. Stigger was sitting in his vehicle when he was shot multiple times. Despite being transported to a local hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. This marked the 68th homicide in Jackson for the year, highlighting a troubling trend of increasing violence in the city.
