Joseph Aaron Posey, a 29-year-old resident of Virginia City, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on the night of April 9, 2021. According to reports, Posey was found dead on the front porch of a home in the Virginia City community, north of Ocean Springs. The Jackson County Sheriff's Department responded to a 911 call at approximately 10:30 p.m. and discovered Posey had been shot.
