In the early evening of Saturday, October 14, 2023, tragedy struck in Jackson, Mississippi, claiming the life of 25-year-old Christopher Avazier Goolsby. The incident unfolded around 6:00 p.m. on O'Ferrell Avenue, near the intersection with West Capitol Street. It was there that Goolsby was shot multiple times.
