On June 26, 2023, at approximately 1:30 a.m., 22-year-old Myriek Zy'Rell Zyavon Price was fatally shot in Jackson, Mississippi. Officers responded to a residence in the 4400 block of Wainwright Avenue, where they discovered Price's body lying in the doorway.
