In the summer of 2021, a young man's life was tragically cut short in Columbia, Mississippi. Tommy DaQuan Burton, a 23-year-old Black male, was at a residence on Gates Road on the evening of Friday, July 9th. It was there that violence erupted, and the sound of gunfire pierced the night.
