In the small city of Clarksdale, Mississippi, a bright and inquisitive seven-year-old boy named Cartravious Dontrae 'CJ' Brown Jr. lost his life in a burst of gunfire on the afternoon of October 11, 2021. CJ was a second-grade student at Clarksdale Collegiate Public Charter School, known for his joyful nature and love for football and video games.
