On December 30, 2021, Morques Johnson, a 43-year-old resident of Hermanville, Mississippi, was found dead from a gunshot wound. The Claiborne County Sheriff's Department responded to reports of shots fired on Highway 18 in Hermanville shortly before midnight. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Johnson's body, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
