In a tragic turn of events, 20-year-old Brianna Carter from Jackson, Mississippi, lost her life in January 2022. At eight months pregnant, Carter was the victim of a fatal shooting. Despite her critical injuries, she was able to identify her alleged attacker to investigators before she succumbed to her wounds. Her unborn child also did not survive the incident.
