In the spring of 2022, a violent act shattered the peace of a Greenville, Mississippi neighborhood and ended the life of 43-year-old Timothy Lewis. On the afternoon of April 9th, officers from the Greenville Police Department were dispatched to Redbud Street where they discovered Lewis unresponsive, having sustained what appeared to be a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
