On a late Saturday night in Greenville, Mississippi, a domestic dispute escalated into a fatal encounter, leaving a 54-year-old man dead. Patrick Thomas, a resident of Greenville, was shot and killed on March 16, 2024, in an incident that authorities would later classify as a homicide. The Greenville Police Department was alerted to the shooting and dispatched detectives to the scene to begin the painstaking process of piecing together the events that led to Thomas's death.
