In the early morning hours of December 2, 2023, the life of 24-year-old Jakell Hines was tragically cut short in Greenville, Mississippi. Hines, a Black male, was discovered with a gunshot wound outside a local business in the 1500 block of Mekhi Road after police responded to reports of shots fired in the area.
