Do you know who murdered DeMarco? DeMarco Jerrell Sharp, a 24-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was found fatally shot on November 11, 2015. At approximately 11:43 PM, Columbus Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment building on Holburn Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered Sharp lying inside the front entrance of the building, having sustained gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sharp’s death left both the local community and his family searching for answers and justice, as no suspects were immediately identified.
The case remains unsolved, and it has since been included in Ohio’s cold case files. Authorities, including the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, continue to seek any leads from the public that might aid in solving the homicide.
