However, the vehicle did not catch fire, and the individual fled the scene before police arrived.
Jawuan Reynolds, also known by his stage name "Fam Staxx," was an ambitious local musician who was well-known in the community. He often filmed his music videos in the Columbus area, including popular tracks like "Killumbus" and "Westside Mobbin." His death, along with Killen's, sparked an extensive investigation by the Columbus police. Years later, in 2024, Paul A. Smith, a 24-year-old man from Columbus, was charged in connection with the murders. Physical evidence linked Smith to the killings, though the motive for the crime remained unclear. Court documents indicated that Smith was one of multiple suspects possibly involved in the incident.
