On the night of October 30, 2024, Martin Valdivia, a 37-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was fatally shot outside an apartment complex located on the 5600 block of Cabot Cove Drive. The incident occurred shortly after 11:15 PM when multiple calls were made to the police reporting gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, officers found Valdivia lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead at 11:42 PM.
