On April 25, 2023, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Columbus police responded to reports of a shooting and vehicle crash in the 700 block of Northview Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered 34-year-old Brian Borghetti inside a crashed vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, Borghetti succumbed to his injuries on April 28, 2023.
