Jahshaune Coleman, a 20-year-old male from Columbus, OH, was tragically killed on January 27, 2021. Coleman had previously escaped serious injury in a shooting in 2016 when he was 15 years old. At that time, he was being arrested for robbing a man of cellphones and shoes on Cleveland Avenue. During the arrest, a gun he was carrying discharged, and he was treated for a minor leg injury before being taken into custody.
The case remains under investigation, and the Columbus Division of Police continues to seek information from the public regarding the incident.
