On February 28, 2024, Shandar Weaver, a 28-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was fatally shot while driving, leading to a crash into a building at the intersection of South James Road and East Main Street. The incident occurred around 1:11 a.m., when police discovered Weaver inside his vehicle with a gunshot wound.
