William Lee Delaney, a 30-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on June 23, 2022, in Columbus, Ohio. He was fatally shot in the Hilltop neighborhood, specifically in the 2100 block of West Mound Street. Responding officers found Delaney unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. Despite immediate lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:03 p.m. The incident was reported to be the 60th homicide in Columbus for the year 2022.
