On January 8, 2017, 33-year-old Savaughn L. Conner was found shot to death in Columbus, Ohio. He was discovered on a grass lot near a business park at 2169 South James Road. According to the investigation, surveillance footage showed that Conner's body had been dumped from a vehicle around 12:35 a.m. The police determined that he had been shot five times, sustaining gunshot wounds to his back, abdomen, and left forearm.
