On March 16, 2012, Maurice Roberts, age 36, was shot and killed while visiting a friend on Cordell Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. During the incident, another individual named Donald Smith was also wounded. Maurice Roberts' death was a result of gun violence in the city, and his homicide was investigated by the Columbus Police Department. Later, Quincey Harris Jr., aged 24, was charged and convicted for the murder, bringing some closure to Roberts' family. Harris eventually entered a plea, admitting ...
