Carrington Corey Willis, a 32-year-old Black male from Columbus, Ohio, tragically passed away on September 24, 2020. He was fatally shot near Harrison Smith Park on the city's Northeast Side. Willis was transported to Ohio State University East Hospital in critical condition but did not survive his injuries. His death marked the city's 112th homicide of that year.
