Quantavis T. Fernando, a 22-year-old resident of Horton Street in Corinth, Mississippi, was tragically found dead on May 1, 2022. His body was discovered by a motorist on County Road 182 in the Hopewell community, near the Tishomingo County line, around 4:15 a.m. The Alcorn County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and identified Fernando, who had suffered a fatal gunshot wound. The investigation revealed that the crime likely occurred between 1:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. on the same day.
