In the summer of 2025, the life of 30-year-old Darius Gaines was cut short in Corinth, Mississippi. On the evening of Saturday, July 5th, Gaines was in the front yard of a residence located in the 1800 block of Bunch Street. It is believed that as he was about to enter his vehicle, he was fatally shot.
Law enforcement was called to the scene, where they discovered Gaines's body. The Corinth Police Department promptly launched a homicide investigation into the shooting.
