In the summer of 2019, the life of 35-year-old Zechariah Beauford Burnett was cut short by an act of gun violence on a street in Rochester, New York. On the evening of June 26th, Burnett was on Fifth Street when he was fatally shot. Described by those who knew him as a quiet, respectful, and loyal man, as well as a funny and devoted father, his death left a void in the lives of his loved ones.
