In the winter of 2021, the life of 25-year-old Waltequaries Evans was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in Rochester, New York. On the evening of Sunday, December 12, 2021, Evans was near the School #17 playground on Orchard Street when an argument escalated into deadly violence. He was shot and subsequently rushed to the University of Rochester Medical Center in a private vehicle, but he did not survive his injuries.
