Waltequaries Evans, a 25-year-old resident of Rochester, NY, tragically lost his life on December 12, 2021. Evans was fatally shot near the playground of School No. 17, located at the intersection of Campbell and Orchard streets. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m., when a ShotSpotter activation alerted the Rochester Police Department to a potential shooting in the area.
