In the late summer of 2020, a sudden burst of violence cut short the life of Jermaine Shelton, a 35-year-old man from Rochester, New York. On the evening of Sunday, September 13th, Shelton was seated in the passenger side of a vehicle, a mundane moment that would tragically become his last. Without warning, gunfire erupted, and Shelton was struck by multiple bullets.
