Robert Alan Blackburn, aged 39, passed away on June 23, 2021, in Corinth, Mississippi. Blackburn's death occurred following an incident involving law enforcement officers from the Alcorn County Sheriff's Office. On the morning of June 23, deputies responded to a disturbance call at a local residence. Upon arrival, the first deputy encountered Blackburn, who was armed with a knife. Despite attempts to subdue him using a taser and pepper spray, Blackburn fled into the nearby woods.
