Ahmarus Rakim Swinney, aged 25, tragically lost his life on April 4, 2015, in Corinth, Mississippi. The incident occurred during a violent shootout at the Nashway Apartments, which resulted in the deaths of both Swinney and Deonta Dwayne Herman, aged 22. The shootout was believed to be gang-related, with police estimating that as many as 80 shots were fired during the altercation.
