In the autumn of 1980, the life of 18-year-old Charlotte Bernice Cook, a female from Lufkin, Texas, was tragically cut short. Her body was discovered in the rural landscape of Cloudy, Pushmataha County, Oklahoma, in November of that year. An investigation revealed that she had been shot to death, a violent end to a young life.
