In December of 1985, the life of Norman Alan Rehrig, a 30-year-old former star athlete, came to a violent and mysterious end. His body was discovered on December 11, 1985, in a secluded area near the Oklahoma City airport. Rehrig was found inside his Ford Bronco, having been shot in both the side and the head. The freezing weather made it difficult for investigators to determine the exact time of his death. At the time he was found, Rehrig had been missing for four days.
