In the early morning hours of February 8, 2023, the life of 42-year-old Kevin Antwain Wright, a Black male, was cut short in a fatal shooting at the Green Carpet Inn in Oklahoma City. Responding to a call about a shooting at the motel located at 720 S. MacArthur, police discovered Wright with critical gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
