In what appears to have been a robbery gone tragically wrong, 27-year-old Cedrick Lamon Gilmer was shot and killed in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The incident unfolded in the early morning hours of June 9, 2015, at a motel party. Gilmer had reportedly made a post on Facebook indicating he was in possession of a large sum of money, which investigators believe attracted the attention of his assailants.
