In the summer of 1992, on the long and sun-drenched day of June 21st, the life of a young man was tragically cut short in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Seventeen-year-old Monty Moenage Linnear, a male, was found in the driveway of a residence at 2804 N. Boulder Avenue. He had been shot and succumbed to a fatal gunshot wound. The circumstances of his death pointed to a senseless act of violence, a drive-by shooting that left a family and a community reeling.
