In the fall of 2016, a chain of violent crimes culminated in the tragic death of 27-year-old Wilmer Flores. Originally from Honduras, Mr. Flores became the victim of a brutal kidnapping and homicide that ended in Tulsa's Mohawk Park. His life was cut short on October 11, 2016, when he was fatally shot. The discovery of his body was made by a passerby who happened to be in the park.
