Do you know who killed Danny? In the early morning hours of November 23, 1974, Danny Leo Faught, a 26-year-old male, was working the night shift at the Git-N-Go convenience store at 1605 S. Memorial Drive in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The young man from Claremore was last seen alive by a customer at approximately 1 a.m. The hours crept by in what was likely a quiet shift at the newly opened store.
Shortly after 2:15 a.m., the silence was broken when customers entered the store and made a grim discovery.
They found Faught in a back room, the victim of a brutal attack. He had been shot once between the eyes and once in the back of the head with a small-caliber weapon. The motive for the killing appeared to be a robbery, as less than $150 was missing from the cash register.
