Do you know who murdered Kristopher? On the evening of March 28, 2003, the life of an African-American man, Kristopher Dwayne Thompson, was tragically cut short in his own home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Officers were dispatched to his residence at 6340 N. Denver following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they made the grim discovery of Thompson deceased inside.
The investigation into his death revealed that he had been fatally shot.
A witness at the scene reported hearing a single gunshot and then seeing two Black males fleeing from Thompson's house. These unidentified suspects were observed getting into a distinct four-door vehicle, described as being tan over light blue with shiny rims, before making their escape.
Despite the witness's account and the description of the getaway car, the individuals responsible for Kristopher Thompson's murder were never apprehended. No arrests have been made in the case, and the identities of the two men seen running from his home remain unknown. His death is now considered a cold case, one of the many unsolved homicides in the city of Tulsa, leaving his family and community without answers or justice for his untimely death.
