In the fall of 2017, a senseless act of violence cut short the life of Shane Anderson, a 44-year-old male teacher from Tulsa, Oklahoma, who taught geography at Oneta Ridge Middle School in the Broken Arrow Public Schools district. On the evening of October 1st, his life was tragically taken when he acted to protect his wife, Darcie, and their two young daughters during a home invasion.
The perpetrator, identified as 16-year-old Deonte Green, had embarked on a violent crime spree that day.
